Park Rules:
This is our first year at Hampton Hills and we would like to return in
future years, please obey park rules, specifically:
1) Only park in designated areas
2) No drugs or alcoholic beverages
3) Keep pets on a leash
4) Only ride on the designated trails
Parking:
Volunteers - Please park in the "bullpen
area" along the Hardy gravel road. It is
past the start area and down the hill a little bit. You won't be able to leave until all riders
are past the prologue section of the course.
Racers/Spectators - Please arrive after 8am and check in 30 minutes
before race time there is limited paved parking near the shelter that will fill
up quickly. There's a large grass lot
closer to Theiss Rd. Please follow the
instructions of those helping with Parking and only take up enough space for
your car.
There's limited parking. Please
carpool, bring a smaller car, park at the business lots on Akron-Peninsula Road
and ride up Theiss, use Uber, etc to save spots.
Registration:
Registration is available on BikeReg.com
- Pre-registration prices are good until 7:30PM on August 3rd. Race will be capped at 240 entrants. After the pre-reg cutoff, prices go up by
$10.
You must be a USA Cycling member or buy a one-day license on BikeReg to participate.
Race Times:
8:30am - Pre-ride available on the Prologue Section*
9:00am - Registration/Check in Opens
9:30am - Pre-ride available on the entire course*
*you must be Registered for the race to pre-ride
9:30am - Juniors race registration cutoff
10:00am - Junior Novice U19, U15, U13
11:30am - Expert/Sport/Novice Race registration cutoff
12:00pm - Expert/Cat 1 Waves & Ebike
12:20pm(approx) - Sport/Cat 2 Waves
12:40pm(approx) - Novice/Cat 3 Waves

Start/Staging (0.2 mi):
Racers will start on the Hardy Rd/Gravel Road east of the Shelter. They will race up the hill and make a right hand turn onto the grass behind the bathrooms to get
onto the trails
Little Sasquatch Section(.23
mile):
This is the beginner A Loop
Prologue Section(2.5 mi):
This makes use of the B/C/D Loops on the south side of Hardy Rd.
Straightaway Section(0.62 mi):
This is the gravel doubletrack path connecting the B Loop with the Upper
Loop. Racers will finish on this
straightaway after doing the required number of laps
Intermediate Section(4.6mi):
This is a loop that uses the Upper, Hardy, Woodward Creek, and Peninsula
Loops

*Because of the structure of the course, racers will only be timed at the finish. No Lap times will be on the results.
Staging:
Riders will be called up to the first row based on USA Cycling Rankings if
they have registered by Thursday, August 1 at midnight.
Results:
Results will be posted to sfwtiming.com
- Racers can look at the results on their phones. There is a 15-minute protest period before we
will award podiums.
Food:
At this time, we plan to have limited snacks and
water/Gatorade available. There is no
running water in the park. Please bring
plenty of fluids and food to keep you nourished. We'll work on a more food-worthy approach in
our second year.
Emergencies:
We'll have first aid for cuts and scrapes on site. If there is an injury on course, please call
the race control at 330-826-1450. Call
911 if the emergency requires immediate rescue.
